DrilAgent Release Ceremony in SRIPE

BEIJING – July 3, 2026 – The Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Engineering (SRIPE) unveiled "DrilAgent," a new intelligent drilling system software, during a high-profile launch event in Beijing.

The premiere attracted senior executives and technical leaders from Sinopec Group headquarters and its major oilfield operations. Distinguished attendees included Dr. Li Yang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chairman of the Sinopec Science and Technology Association, and Chief Scientist of Sinopec Group, as well as Dr. Sun Huanquan, also an Academician and Chief Scientist of the Group.

A centerpiece of the event was a presentation by Dr. Hongbao, which featured an evaluation video by Dr. Rami Albattat (shown in the photo). The demonstration highlighted the software’s robust performance and integration capabilities within the Sinopec Real-Time Operations Center (RTOC) in the Middle-East. Building on the successful demonstration, STME looks forward to expanding its partnership with SRIPE in the years ahead.
