The Opening Ceremony of the Real-Time Operation Center (RTOC)

SINOPEC Tech Middle East (STME) proudly marked a significant milestone in its journey of technological innovation and operational excellence with the successful inauguration of its Real-Time Operation Center (RTOC).

The prestigious event was attended by senior executives and distinguished guests from both SINOPEC and Saudi Aramco, including Mr. TIAN Hongbin, Vice President, SINOPEC Group, Senior Vice President, SINOPEC Corp with the members of the SINOPEC leadership delegations, and Mr. Abdul Hameed Al Dughaither, Executive Vice President EXPEC & Drilling, Saudi Aramco with the members of leadership delegations and technical experts from Saudi Aramco.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, followed by an overview of STME’s vision and commitment to advancing digital transformation and intelligent operational solutions within the energy sector.

As a symbol of the strong and enduring partnership between SINOPEC and Saudi Aramco, Mr. Tian Hongbin presented trophies to the Saudi Aramco delegation, recognizing the valuable collaboration and mutual achievements between the two organizations.

As another significant highlight of the ceremony, STME conducted a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with Saudi Aramco, marking an important step in further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two organizations.

A key highlight of the event was the official launch of the SINOPEC Real-Time Operation Center (RTOC), jointly inaugurated by the senior leadership of SINOPEC and Saudi Aramco. The launch represents a major advancement in STME’s capability to integrate real-time monitoring, data analytics, operational intelligence, and digital decision-making to support the evolving needs of the energy industry.

Following the inauguration, guests were invited to the newly established RTOC facility, where a live demonstration showcased the center’s advanced technologies, real-time operational monitoring capabilities, and its role in enhancing efficiency, reliability, and collaborative decision-making across various business operations.

The event continued with an executive meeting between SINOPEC and Saudi Aramco leadership, providing an important platform for strategic discussions, knowledge exchange, and exploration of future opportunities for cooperation and innovation.

As part of the visit, Mr. Tian Hongbin and his delegation toured STME’s laboratory and workshop facilities, where they were introduced to the company's advanced research, testing, and technical service capabilities. The delegation also visited the Reservoir Rocks and Fluids Laboratory, gaining insights into STME’s specialized expertise and ongoing contributions to reservoir characterization, laboratory testing, and energy technology development.

The successful inauguration of the Real-Time Operation Center marks a landmark achievement for STME and reflects the company's unwavering commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence.
