On December 17, Sinopec Tech Middle East (STME) and Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration and Production Corporation (SIPC) held a seminar on overseas upstream technical support system construction, in line with Sinopec Group's “1+N+X” overseas upstream technical support framework.

Ding Shidong, President of STME; Ke Ke, Vice President of STME; Su Qin, Chief Expert of Sinopec Group; and other representatives from both organizations attended the meeting, which was chaired by Wu Xuecheng, Vice President of SIPC.

SIPC presented its overseas assets, production status, and current challenges, emphasizing the formation and objectives of the "1+N+X" technical support system and STME's role within it. STME introduced its capabilities and proposed collaboration initiatives, detailing the technical support services it can provide and implementation pathways.

Ding Shidong, President of STME, expressed gratitude for STME's integration into SIPC's technical support system. He emphasized that STME will leverage its platform capabilities to accelerate laboratory testing, localized manufacturing, and RTOC decision-making platform construction, while prioritizing the first batch of collaborative projects.

Sinopec Group Chief Expert Su Qin offered suggestions on cooperation in areas including technical support, talent development, data platforms, and supply chains.

Wu Xuecheng, Vice President of SIPC, noted the strong complementarity between the two sides and proposed a two-step cooperation approach, focusing on near-term technical support and long-term regional support center development.

Both parties designated liaison offices and contact persons to advance follow-up actions.
